A 24-year-old young man has died and a 27-year-old young woman has been injured after being hit by a vehicle on the TF-47 highway, in the municipality of Guía de Isora, in Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center. (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
The event occurred this Saturday, around 11:20 p.m., when the 1-1-2 operational room received an alert reporting that a vehicle had run over two people and that they were injured.
Cecoes immediately activated the necessary emergency resources and a sanitized ambulance and another basic life support ambulance, a doctor and a nurse from the area’s Health Center, the Civil Guard and the Local Police went to the scene.
Once there, the SUC staff, with the collaboration of the doctor and nurse from the Health Center, assisted the injured and transferred them to the Hospiten Sur University Hospital, where the young man died. The girl suffered moderate multiple contusions.
The Civil Guard instructed the corresponding procedures, the Local Police collaborated with the emergency services and the staff of the Insular Highway Center cleaned the road.
