Two tragic work incidents have plunged Tenerife In mourning, with a period of just three hours between both deaths. In both cases, the men involved fell from significant heights, one from a telecommunications tower and the other from the roof of an industrial warehouse, unfortunately without the emergency services being able to prevent their deaths.

The first incident occurred shortly after 10:00 a.m., when a 38-year-old man lost his life after falling from a communications antenna in Adeje. The staff of Canary Emergency Servicealong with a doctor and a nurse from the local health center, provided initial care on La Borda Street before transferring him to the Hospiten Sur University Hospital due to his serious multiple traumas. Tragically, the man died in the hospital.

In the second case, a man died after falling from the top of the roof of an industrial warehouse in Tenerife, specifically in the La Campana Industrial Park, in El Rosario.

Around 1:30 p.m., the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 received a report of a person who needed medical attention after falling from a considerable height while working on the roof of an industrial warehouse.

A coordinating doctor of the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) present in the operating room interrogated the alerter and confirmed that the affected person was in cardiorespiratory arrest. Through telephone assistance, she provided instructions to perform resuscitation maneuvers until the arrival of medical resources.

The SUC personnel continued with basic and advanced resuscitation maneuvers, but Unfortunately they were unable to reverse the situation.and the death of the individual was confirmed.
