SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, September 5 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The office of the president of the Parliament of the Canary Islands, Astrid Pérez, welcomed this Tuesday the inauguration of two new deputies and two deputies who are part of the Popular Parliamentary Group, the Canary Nationalist Parliamentary Group and the Canary Socialist Parliamentary Group.
With this act, deputy José Alberto Díaz Estébanez León (CC) returns to the Chamber and Marcos Antonio Bergaz Villalba (PSOE), Jennifer María Curbelo Trujillo (PP) and Mónica Muñoz Peña (PP) join.
Curbelo Trujillo will occupy the seat left by Pedro Suárez López de Vergara (PP) after being appointed president of the Port Authority of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Mónica Muñoz Peña replaces Miguel Ángel Ponce (PP), managing director of the University Hospital of Gran Canaria Doctor Negrín, José Alberto Díaz replaces the national deputy Cristina Valido (CC) and the Lanzarote socialist Marcos Antonio Bergaz Villalba begins his first stage as a regional parliamentarian after the incorporation of Dolores Corujo (PSOE) to the Congress of Deputies.
The president of the Parliament of the Canary Islands, Astrid Pérez, welcomed the new deputies, wished them luck in this new stage and expressed confidence that with their “work and dedication, they will be able to contribute to the progress of the eight Canary Islands and the improvement of the well-being of the people who live on this earth.
