The fire that has been devastating the forest crown of the Tenerife island It has been active since August 15 and, although it has been stabilized to a certain extent, it has not yet been completely turned off. During the day Tuesday, drones from Emergency and Rescue Group (GES) of the Government of the Canary Islands They flew over the affected area to record from the air the damage that the fire has left in the green heart of Tenerife.

The images captured by the drones reveal a landscape transformed by the fire: extensive areas of land are covered by black spots, marking the path along which the flames advanced. The once majestic pine trees appear blackened and stripped of their leaves and branches, creating a devastating scene that will require a considerable amount of time to fully recover.
