Some hooded individuals staged a robbery inside a house in the municipality of Adeje, where they managed to steal a safe in which there was money and a firearm.
The events occurred during the early hours of last Saturday inside a villa located in the Los Olivos urbanization. According to the sources consulted by EL DÍA, the criminals took advantage of the fact that the owners of the property are out of Tenerife these days.
The thieves went to one of the single-family houses located on Atbitocazpe street and forced the access door to the garden and, later, the entrance to the home. This episode was recorded around 3:00 p.m.
Those affected are Ukrainian citizens who are away from the island on a vacation trip
Supposedly, the victims are citizens of Ukrainian nationality who are traveling on vacation.
The perpetrators of this assault managed to locate the place where the safe with money was located. In addition, inside there was a pistol, a short 9-millimeter caliber.
After the person in charge of going through the house periodically verified that a robbery had taken place, several agents of the Local Police came to the aforementioned enclave of the municipality of Adeje, very close to the old Fyffes Hall, who gathered the first information about the event.
Due to the characteristics of this crime against property, the investigation has been undertaken by agents of the Judicial Police Team of the Civil Guard of the South of Tenerife.
It is not the first time in recent years that a robbery of these characteristics has occurred in homes in the Los Olivos urbanization, where citizens with a medium-high level of purchasing power reside.
In addition, some residents regret that other criminals go there to leave cars or motorcycles that have been stolen or used in other criminal acts.
