It is very small but its light brown color, turning orange and its look have made many people fall in love. The little kitten was found by a girl in the Pinolere neighborhood, in La Orotava. She herself bought a carrier and took it to the Quiquirá pavilion, when she found out that animals evicted from the neighborhoods affected by the smoke and ash from the fire declared on Tuesday night in Tenerife were sheltered there. She also gave him a name: Pumuki, a word that in German means pixie.

The truth is that a few hours after arriving, the feline already has several requests from people interested in hosting it. “He is very small and allows himself to be touched without any problem”, underlines the Councilor for Animal Welfare, María Candelaria García Pacheco.
