SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Aug. 10 (EUROPA PRESS) –
A total of three people have been affected in various ways after a fire broke out in a house in La Laguna, on the island of Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center of 112 of the Canary Islands.
The events occurred on Wednesday afternoon in a house located on Avenida República Argentina in the aforementioned municipality, the place where firefighters from Tenerife went to extinguish the fire.
For their part, the personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) assisted a 21-year-old young man who, at the initial moment of assistance, had a burn on his upper extremity and moderate smoke inhalation poisoning, for which he was transferred by medicalized ambulance to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands.
They also attended two women, one aged 54, who initially had smoke inhalation poisoning, for which both were taken by ambulance to the Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria University Hospital.
Civil Protection personnel also appeared in the area, as well as agents of the Local Police and the National Police, who collaborated with the intervening resources and instructed the corresponding proceedings.
