He Santa Cruz de Tenerife Town Hallunder the direction of Carlos Tarife in the area of Public Services, has announced that traffic cuts and diversions will be carried out in the Santa Cruz Boulevard from Monday the 7th to Friday the 11th of August. These measures will be taken to carry out the construction of several scuppers on the road in order to improve the evacuation of rainwater.

One of the main changes will be in the Alejandro Cioranescu street, where a partial U-turn will be implemented. Specifically, the direction of descent will be modified to become the direction of ascent from the intersection with the Dr. Pablos Abril square to the intersection with Esperanto street.

The strategy for vehicles wishing to go up the Rambla will be to turn right into the aforementioned square and drive along Alejandro Cioranescu street, to finally join the Rambla de Santa Cruz through Esperanto street.

On the other hand, drivers wishing to access Residencial Anaga from Alejandro Cioranescu street should join the Rambla going up, make a U-turn before reaching the Theseus anchor island and then turn left.

With regard to public transport, due to the passage of buses through the affected section, the parking spaces on Esperanto street and the adjoining parking lots on Alejandro Cioranescu street and Esperanto street will be temporarily suppressed to guarantee enough space for the vehicles to turn around. public transport.

For the scuppers in the direction of descent, the works will be carried out in the middle of the road, keeping one lane temporarily closed.
