The best routes with panoramic views in Adeje

Adeje is one of the main tourist municipalities of Tenerife and is visited by thousands of tourists every year. Its beaches, its mountains and its historical and cultural heritage make it attractive to a very varied audience. But to get to know the space well, it is necessary to enter it and explore it, so there is nothing better to do some of the best Tenerife trails.

There are many and varied options. From walks in the middle of the mountains or along the most paradisiacal beaches of the Island, in the middle of the city or along routes that run through the old agricultural areas. But if there is one thing that will surprise you in all of them, it is their magnificent panoramic views.

Here we offer you some of the top walking trails of Adeje with panoramic views. Take out your camera and take a memory for a lifetime.

If you want to enjoy breathtaking views along the Adejera coast, there is nothing better than taking a route between Costa Adeje and Playa de Las Américas, in Arona, a neighboring municipality where you will also find good bathing areas.

This experience can be very different if you do it in winter or summer, since you will be able to find different tourist profiles and more or less crowded beaches. But, without a doubt, doing the route in the afternoon will also allow you to enjoy a great sunset.

We suggest that you start your way in Costa Adejegoing through the Duque, Fañabé and Torviscas beaches, among others, until reaching Las Américas. A whole spectacle of beaches that will make you feel in paradise.

Way of the Virgin

The following path is special. Not only because it is one of those with the longest history, but also because its views will surprise you. Its about Way of the Virgin of adejea place where the Virgin of the Incarnation -hence that formerly carried his name- from La Enramada to the Hermitage of Santa Úrsula of the municipality to protect it from pirate attacks in the 16th century.

This route starts from El Portón towards the coast and ends at the old hermitage of La Enramada, currently known as Old Hermitage of San Sebastian. Throughout the journey, not only will you be able to see the natural landscape through which you walk, but in the distance you can see a panoramic view of the coast, with the most popular tourist areas and the most modern hotel buildings.

Ifonche-Barranco del Infierno

The route from Ifonche to Barranco del Infierno It has an approximate distance of about four kilometers and is of moderate difficulty. The Ifonche Protected Landscape is characterized by its agricultural presence. Its protection is given by being a rural landscape with buildings of Canarian architecture, terraced agricultural plots of great scenic beauty and where areas transformed by human activities coexist with small natural redoubts.

All this makes the views along this route very special. But, in addition, the path leads to the Barranco del Infierno, one of the most popular for hiking on the island.

During the journey you will be able to observe various species of flora and fauna, as well as delight yourself with the wonderful views of the landscape.
