SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, July 31 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Health Services Management of La Gomera, attached to the Health Department of the Government of the Canary Islands, has informed that due to the interruption of the energy supply on the island, the routine analytical activity scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, in the health centers of San Sebastián, Vallehermoso and Mulagua are suspended until further notice.
The patients assigned to those three health centers who had an appointment to carry out tests tomorrow, Tuesday, August 1, will be summoned again by the Health Services Management once the electricity supply is restored.
The island’s health centers have maintained their activity on today’s day and during the afternoon the professionals will remain on call with physical presence until tomorrow in order to meet the care and support needs of their reference population.
In order to cause as little inconvenience as possible to users, the La Gomera Sanitary Services Management has tried to contact users in the affected municipalities. Given the existing limitations for communication, signs have been installed at the entrance doors of the centers to notify people who had an appointment tomorrow at these centers of the suspension of the analysis.
