SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, July 29 (EUROPA PRESS) –

Santa Cruz de Tenerife will host one of the must-see international events in the world of Latin dance competition next September with a new edition of the Canarias Salsa Open, whose organization is the benchmark in this discipline of great technical demand, acrobatics and passion for dancing at its best.

Thus, between September 1 and 3, the capital of Tenerife will revive one of the largest events dedicated to salsa where residents of the Islands will be able to participate in the categories of couples and soloists, whose registrations are open on the web www.salsaopencanarias.com since last June.

In addition to trophies, diplomas and certifications, this year’s winners will have a guaranteed place in the final of the Megadancers European Salsa League championship, which will also be held in the capital of Tenerife during this event that was born precisely on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Canary Islands. Open Sauce.

An initiative in which the organizers have been working prior to the stoppage derived from the COVID-19 pandemic and which, from now on, will continue its trajectory together with the participation and contact of hundreds of academies and professors of European countries.

Thus, both contests will meet in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, which will become the European capital of dance, while a complete program of parallel activities will be developed.

COMPETITIONS AND LOCATIONS.

The La Cascada events hall in the capital of Tenerife will host the two competitions on Friday the 1st and Sunday the 3rd, as well as the ‘Social Dance’, which will take place on Saturday the 2nd in this same venue. Another of the most successful parallel activities, such as the Pool Party, has been converted into a large Beach Party that will take place in the vicinity of the Cucumprá kiosk on Las Teresitas beach, also in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

Of special relevance in this edition are the workshops offered by the 2023 Got Talent All Stars champions, Steffany & Yeeremy, and the Pasos Libres workshop given by Silvio González, director of the World Salsa Open and Megadancers European Salsa League, both at the Studio academy. 54 Dance, located in the Maritime Park of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

This edition promises to be one of the most competitive due to the very high level demonstrated and acquired over the years, so that a fantastic international show is guaranteed where Latin music and the technical excellence of the contestants will place the Canary Islands on the podium of the dance competitions, which can also be followed live via streaming from anywhere on the planet.
