SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, July 29 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The helicopter of the Emergency and Rescue Group (GES) of the Government of the Canary Islands has carried out two rescues of injured people in places of difficult access in Tenerife and Lanzarote in the last few hours, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 1 -1-2.
The first performance took place in the Masca ravine, at around 12:45 p.m., when the 1-1-2 operating room received an alert requesting health care for a child under 14 who had a leg injury that left him prevented from continuing the march.
The GES helicopter rescued the victim and transferred him to the La Guancha helipad, where an SUC ambulance took care of him and transferred him to the Hospital del Norte.
The second performance was carried out in Montaña Roja, near the crater, in the municipality of Yaiza, as a result of a 67-year-old woman having suffered a fall and suffering a lower limb trauma.
The GES helicopter rescued the woman and an SUC ambulance took charge of transferring her to the emergency department of the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
