Civil Guard agents belonging to the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Company have saved the life of a young man who was in danger on the bridge located on the TF-1 motorway, near Las Caletillas, in the municipality of Candelaria.
The events occurred when two Civil Guard agents received the alert through the Services Operations Center (COS) that reported the multitude of calls received from citizens warning that a young man was in danger. That is why they immediately moved to the place, reports the Benemérita.
Within a few minutes, the agents arrived at the exact location and saw the young man, who was still in the same position that the agents had previously been informed of. At first, they spoke to him, but after observing his negative attitude and with a clear objective that he could achieve at any time, in an instant of confusion, they grabbed him tightly and managed to move him to a safe area, thus saving his life and avoiding an accident with the TF-1 users, adds the security body.
Subsequently, the health services arrived, who transferred him to a hospital.
