Applus+ opens a new ITV station in Tenerife

Applus+, one of the global leaders in the inspection, testing and certification sector, has opened a new Vehicle Technical Inspection (ITV) center on the island of Tenerife, in the town of Los Realejos, thus continuing to bet on the Canary Islands and growing in the archipelago.

The new station is located on the TF-333, on Carretera La Zamora nº 34. It has three inspection lines equipped with the latest technologies and will directly employ more than 18 local employees. It also has waiting areas, garden areas and a car park. Its opening hours are from 7 in the morning to 9 at night from Monday to Friday, and Saturdays, from 9 to 14 hours.

With the new opening, the Applus+ Group expands its ITV centers in Spain to 82, offering the most modern and best-located facilities to offer its customers a modern, close, agile and efficient service. User satisfaction is the center of all its activity.

Aitor Retes Aguado, Executive Vice President of the Automotive Division of Applus+, says: “The opening of the new ITV in La Zamora – Los Realejos demonstrates Applus+’s commitment to strengthening its response capacity to the mobile fleet in the Canary Islands, since it already has 11 fixed ITV stations. We continue to consolidate our leadership, both in the Canarian market, as well as in the national and international markets”.
