SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, July 13 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The International Ocean Film Tour (OIFT) 2023 will screen this Friday, July 14, six international short films at the Teatro Guimerá in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
According to the organization, the festival proposes a journey through the oceans led by its protagonists, real people and first-person stories, which have the wildest oceans on the planet as a backdrop to tell unique stories with an innovative look.
Here, the pieces ‘The power of activism’, ‘No limits’, ‘Facing monters’, ‘George & the whales’, ‘Stolen fish’ and ‘Sweet adventure’ will be screened.
In the original version with subtitles, with simultaneous translation in sign language, the IOFT seeks to raise awareness, defend and conserve the oceans.
In the same way, it also assumes the challenge of moving society to love, care for and protect the environment, with short films on highly topical topics such as real equality, inclusion, fair reintegration, the fight against poverty, the management of water, sustainable cities or the creation of alliances.
