More than three hundred children will enjoy the summer at the El Rosario camp

More than three hundred children, between the ages of 4 and 14, will enjoy the second edition of the El Rosario Summer Camp for Family Reconciliationafter the success achieved in the previous call when this format was released that combines swimming, sports, hiking, crafts, excursions…, in addition to the stay service, with breakfast and lunch included.

This summer camp, organized by the Departments of Social Action and Equality, It offers 150 places in July and as many in summer and allows the possibility of accessing fortnightly or opting for one of the two months.

To facilitate the development of activities, Grupo Tafor Canary Islands, the company in charge of managing the campus, will carry out the programming in four locations: CEIP San Isidro; the José Martín Martín sports center, from Lomo Pelado; CEO Leoncio Rodríguez and CEIP Miguel Pintor, the latter in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

The camp benefits from a grant of 74,000 euros from the Corresponsables Canarias 2023 Plan, an initiative that was born from the Secretary of State for Equality and against Gender Violence of the Ministry of Equality with the support of the Canarian Federation of Municipalities (Fecam).

The mayor of El Rosario, Escolástico Gil, underlines that “due to the great reception of the first edition, we have opted to give it continuity this year and thus make it easier for our neighbors to harmonize their employment situation with the summer holidays of their children”.
