A 16-year-old teenager is in serious condition when he was rescued this Friday afternoon from the water at Playa de Valleseco (Tenerife).
As reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes), 112, the Local Police of Santa Cruz de Tenerife warned that they had pulled a minor who was in cardiorespiratory arrest out of the water, adding that they were performing basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers on him.
Upon arrival at the scene, the health personnel confirmed that the affected person was in cardiorespiratory arrest and began advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers, managing to recover him.
For his part, once stabilized, the boy was transferred in a medicalized ambulance to the Nuestra Señora de Candelaria University Hospital.
