SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, June 14 (EUROPA PRESS) –

The spokesperson for the Mixed Group in the Parliament of the Canary Islands, Vidina Espino, announced this Wednesday during the plenary session of the Permanent Council that in the coming days she will return to the Chamber more than 400,000 euros that currently make up the remainder in the Group’s account Mixed.

Specifically, it is about the funds that the group has saved during this Legislature due to the “austere, responsible and rigorous” use of public funds and which is equivalent to a full annuity of the subsidy that the group receives, to which 100,000 euros are added. further.

Espino regrets that the money is not used for solidarity purposes as he requested the Chamber on several occasions, the last time, with an amendment to the regulation that was rejected.

In any case, he trusts the good use that the next heads of Parliament can give this money, which he hopes will not be used to “buy armchairs and rugs” but to contribute to improving the lives of the Canaries, collects a note from the Mixed Group .

During his speech, Espino assured that “the Canary Islands have been clear at the polls, betting on a change in parliamentary majorities, a change that flees from propaganda and victimhood, which is giving its last blows these days and which demands responsibility , work, truth and facts”.

Along these lines, he concluded by adding that “the policy of propaganda and smoke has failed because the citizens are as intelligent as they are demanding and they will also be able to set the bar very high for their new representatives and the new government for which there should only be one maxim: work , responsibility and the defense of the Canary Islands”.
