The cyclist Sergio Abreu, winner of the IX Santiago del Teide Cycling Tour

The cyclist Sergio Abreu from the Loro Parque team with a time of 19:54 was the absolute winner in a very tight and exciting final of the IX edition of the Santiago del Teide Cycling Tour organized by the Santiago del Teide City Council with the support of collaboration of Landmar Hotels, the Hotel La Casona del Patio and the local cycling team Risco Blanco.

In second place, with a difference of one second, Luis Daniel de Armas entered with a time of 19:55 while in third place the cyclist Gastón Toledano finished with a time of 19:59.

In the female category, the podium was as follows: the local cyclist Dácil Hernández finished in first place with a time of 24:53, in second place Maider Insausti finished with a time of 26:01 while the third drawer of the podium went to the cyclist local Annick Vande Kerckhove with a time of 28:02.

Regarding the participation of local male runners, the classification was as follows. In first place finished Daniel Hernández Évora with a time of 20:26, in second place ended Narciso Gil Gorrín with a time of 23:04. In the local female category, the winner was Dácil Hernández, followed by Annick Vande Kerckhove and third place went to Candelaria Janette.

In the new E-Bike category (electric bicycles) the winner was the runner Yvan Bemong with a time of 16:02, second place went to Julián Hernández with a time of 17:03 and Mario José Martín finished in third place with 17 :33.

The acting Councilor for Sports, Juan Carlos González, as well as different acting members of the government group, were present at the award ceremony.
