The Contracting Committee has proposed awarding the contract for the maintenance, supply and installation, regulation, management and control of urban mobility in Santa Cruz to the companies Kapsch TrafficCom Transportation and Tekia Ingenieros. The first will be in charge of managing everything related to traffic in the city, for just over 8 million, while the second will monitor compliance with the contract, for more than 350,000 euros. The total amount of this contract divided into these two lots exceeds 9 million.
After obtaining the maximum score, the Contracting Committee has already requested both entities to provide all the necessary documentation to submit the proposal to the city’s Governing Board.
Kapsch will be in charge of the intelligent management of mobility, which entails the implementation of the Low Emission Zone. For this, it will participate in the operation of the Control Room, will carry out the maintenance and the necessary investments.
