SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, June 10 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The personnel of an ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) had to be assisted this Saturday after suffering a traffic accident at the link to Mayorazgo, at the roundabout before reaching Mercatenerife, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, as reported the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
The event occurred minutes before seven in the evening, when the 1-1-2 operating room received an alert reporting a collision between a car and an SUC ambulance at the aforementioned address, for which reason Cecoes immediately activated the necessary emergency resources.
The driver of the tourist refused medical assistance and the SUC ambulance personnel, a man and a woman whose age is unknown, were assisted and transferred to the Hospital Universitario Ntra. Sra. de Candelaria after presenting various moderate injuries.
Agents of the Civil Guard instructed the corresponding procedures after the accident and the Local Police and personnel from the Highway Service of the Cabildo de Tenerife collaborated with the intervening services.
