SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, May 30. (EUROPE PRESS) –
A canoe with 67 migrants on board has arrived Tuesday morning at the Los Cristianos pier, in the south of Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
Once on land, the migrants were assisted by health personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) and by Red Cross volunteers, and one of them had to be transferred to a hospital.
With this boat there are already 119 migrants who have arrived in the Archipelago today, because last night Salvamento Marítimo rescued a boat with 52 people who were taken to the Arrecife pier.
