SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, May 12. (EUROPE PRESS) –
Political formations will be able to spend a maximum of 2,787,452 euros in the next regional elections, according to an Order of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Government of the Canary Islands published this Friday in the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands (BOC).
This amount represents 11% more than four years ago and is broken down with 1,393,728.64 euros for expenses related to the autonomous district followed by 596,253.44 for Tenerife and later, Gran Canaria (546,087.68). ; Lanzarote (99,911.68); Fuerteventura (76,813.44); La Palma (53,400.96); La Gomera (13,950.72) and El Hierro (7,310.72).
Regarding subsidies, each party will receive 22,429.21 euros for each seat obtained, plus 0.84 euros per vote obtained by the candidacy, provided that it has obtained at least one seat.
In addition to the previous amounts, the expenses originated by the direct and personal sending of envelopes and ballots or electoral propaganda and publicity will be subsidized.
In this case, the political party must obtain at least one seat in the Parliament of the Canary Islands and exceed 5% of the total valid votes cast in the Autonomous Community or 20% of the valid votes cast in the respective constituency.
Therefore, 0.10 euros will be received for each voter in the respective electoral constituency, when more than 5% and up to 10% of the votes are obtained; 0.14 euros between 15% and 20% and 0.20 euros when it exceeds 20%.
