SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 23 Apr. (EUROPE PRESS) –
A 30-year-old man was seriously injured when he was stabbed in the abdomen last morning on Calle Fuerteventura in the municipality of Arona (Tenerife).
As reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (Cecoes) 112, around 01:00 this Sunday, a call alerted that a man needed health care after having suffered an attack with a knife.
A medicalized ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) was transferred to the place, whose personnel assisted the victim upon arrival, who presented an abdominal wound.
For this reason, the health personnel stabilized the man for his later transfer by ambulance to the Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria University Hospital, where he was admitted in serious condition.
For their part, agents of the Local Police and the Civil Guard have taken charge of instructing the corresponding proceedings to clarify the circumstances of the attack.
