In this new weekly consultation, approaches to physical and psychological dependence on tobacco are carried out, as well as co-oximetry and spirometry tests in patients with a high risk of relapse, motivation to quit this habit, several previous serious attempts with repeated relapses, secondary diseases to tobacco consumption, psychiatric pathology and pregnant smokers.
The Smoking Cessation clinic at the CAE in La Laguna plans to serve fifteen patients a day.
