Marco González brings together a thousand socialists in the presentation of his candidacy

In front of a thousand people, the PSOE from Puerto de la Cruz presented his team “to consolidate a sufficient majority and to continue working for a city model that has proven successful during this mandate.” In an act that packed the Plaza del Castillo San Felipe, next to Playa Jardín, Marco gonzalez He said that, “with the same emotion and enthusiasm, I present a list of women and men committed to a model of a city that has put Puerto de la Cruz back on the map after the hardest four years of democracy in our city.”

The mayor thanked the unanimous support of the socialist militancy to endorse this commitment that “consolidates a new course for the city, incorporating new personal and professional profiles that will mean a new impulse, with an eye on giving the best of ourselves for the present and future of the best city in the world” .

Marco González, on behalf of his team, asked for the confidence of a city that has undergone a change: «What port is not proud of their Puerto de la Cruz now? How is the port? It is the phrase that is heard the most both in the city and in other parts of the Island,” defended the candidate.

The candidate highlights the “new course” that the municipality reaches after four years of management of the PSOE

The candidacy led by Marco González has Natalia Afonso, as number 2; Flora Perera, number 3; Roberto Medina, 4; Macarena García, as number 5; Jesús Reverón, at 6; Noemí Fernández, 7; Daniel González, from number 8; Enrique Moll, 9; Rebeca Toste, at number 10; Reinaldo Rodríguez, in 11; Guacimara García, at number 12; Miguel Cabrera; at 13; Vanesa Carballo, at 14; Yurena Hernández, at 15; Claudia Quintero, at 16; Juan Ramón Pérez, at 17; Sassy Diagne, at 18; Monica Mora, at 19; Miguel Gómez, at 20, and Diego Benaventein the 21st, with José Antonio Acosta and Charo Pacheco as reserves.

Among those present at the presentation were, along with Marco González, the former socialist mayors Félix Real, Salvador García and Lola Padrón, which helped González to vindicate the public policies developed by governments that have opted for a positive city “with investments that have marked the improvement and progress of Puerto de la Cruz”. The Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Héctor Gómez; the PSOE Organization Secretary, Nira Fierro, and the candidate for the regional parliament, Tamara Raya from Porto, as well as the candidates from Porto who join the candidacy of Pedro Martín with Aarón Afonso, Javier Rodríguez and Mónica Ceballos also attended.
