SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, March 18 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Federal Committee of the PSOE has approved this Saturday the candidacy designed for the La Laguna City Council for the municipal elections on May 28 and which is headed by the general secretary of the PSOE of La Laguna and mayor, Luis Yeray Gutiérrez.
The act was held in Madrid and was attended by Luis Yeray Gutiérrez himself, as a member of this body of maximum representation of the party. After the act, the candidate affirmed that, with this act, his commitment to all the neighborhoods and towns of the municipality is reaffirmed.
Luis Yeray Gutiérrez described the women and men who will accompany him during these elections as “the commitment team to complete the government program that began almost four years ago now.”
The candidate assured that they are men and women “who have acquired the responsibility of achieving a more egalitarian, more sustainable municipality, with more future opportunities for young people, in which older people are listened to even more and in which all lagoons and lagoons can develop their professional and personal projects”.
“They have the commitment to work to reaffirm the achievements obtained in the municipality in these last four years of government of progress,” he added.
As the general secretary and mayor explained, “it is a candidacy that combines experts in public management with others who have extensive experience in private business, and in which representatives of the associative fabric and groups of La Laguna”.
In the same way, he stressed that the people who are included in the candidacy represent the main neighborhoods and towns of La Laguna. “Our objective is to continue promoting the identity of each one of the places that make up our municipality and the best thing is to have those who know very closely the reality of each one of the population centers,” she said.
In addition, he thanked this group of women and men for having taken “a step forward by assuming the responsibility and commission to continue a political project that seeks to consolidate social rights and economic advances, in addition to improving infrastructures and services, all This is to guarantee the physical, mental and social well-being of the citizenry”.
Luis Yeray Gutiérrez added that the work carried out in the last four years “has made it possible to identify and resolve a good part of the concerns of the neighbors and the neighbors, allowing progress in policies aimed at citizens.”
In this sense, he highlighted that the next four years “are the period in which the work done so far can be confirmed to achieve the real and definitive change that La Laguna has been waiting for decades.”

Santiago Pérez is ranked 27th on the list.
