SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, March 2 (EUROPA PRESS) –

A 67-year-old woman has been moderately affected by a fire in her home in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center of 112 in the Canary Islands.

The events occurred around 01:51 this Thursday in a house located on the seventh floor of a building on Eduardo Westerdahl street in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the place where members of the Tenerife Fire Consortium went to extinguish the fire that affected the sunroom, as well as part of the kitchen and ventilated the building.

For their part, the personnel of the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) treated the affected person who, at the initial moment of assistance, presented moderate intoxication due to smoke inhalation, for which she was transferred by ambulance to the Hospital Universitario Nuestra Lady of the Candelaria.

Civil Protection personnel, as well as the Local Police and National Police, who collaborated with the rest of the emergency resources, also appeared at the scene of the incident.
