Santa Cruz incorporates 88 homes into the reform and rehabilitation program

The reform and rehabilitation of homes in santa cruz It continues to grow thanks to the different programs of the Urban Regeneration and Renewal Areas (ARRU).

On this occasion, according to the progress of Municipal Housing, another 88 homes located in the neighborhoods of Los Gladiolos, La Salud and Miramar have been added.

The drafting of the projects to intervene in these properties is currently in tender, and, according to the mayor of the area, Juan José Martínez, the schedule is that the work can be starting after the summer, since to draft the projects, once awarded, the term is two months. The total investment in these 88 homes exceeds 1.2 million.

In the Los Gladiolos neighborhood, two buildings will be intervened, totaling 56 homes, corresponding to blocks 33, with 32 floors, and 18, with another 24. The second of the interventions will take place in the La Salud neighborhood, where 24 houses are added to rehabilitate in three buildings.

The last of the projects that is up for tender is the one corresponding to the Miramar neighborhood, where 16 homes distributed in two buildings will be intervened.

These works allow the reform and modernization of all the common and structural areas of the blocks, as well as the waterproofing of roofs, galleries and balconies and planters, among others.
