SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 7 Jan. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The emergency services have rescued an injured hiker after suffering a fall on the path from Arguayo to Tamaimo, in the municipality of Santiago del Teide, in Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 1-1- 2.
The event occurred shortly after 11:00 a.m., when the 1-1-2 operating room received an alert requesting healthcare for a 53-year-old woman who had suffered a fall in the aforementioned area.
The GES helicopter rescued the affected person and transferred her to its base in La Guancha and from there an SUC ambulance took over her assistance and transferred her to a health center due to moderate trauma to the lower limb.
