To the house in Valle de Guerra, proclaimed as the most Christmassy of Tenerife some days ago, Others are added, each with its special touch.
After DIARIO DE AVISOS announced the spectacular Christmas decoration that Lorenzo makes every year at his home in Valle Guerra, several people from Tenerife have wanted to show off their ornamental bets during this festive season.
War Valley
More of 25,000 bulbs, nutcrackers of more than two meters and a Santa Claus of 1.80 adorn the most Christmassy house in Tenerife. It is the fruit of the imagination and dreams of Lorenzo Barroso and his son, also called Lorenzo. His father recently passed away, now the son not only maintains the family tradition, but tries to make it grow year after year.
In 1995 this family began to decorate their house, located in Valle de Guerra, in a special way. “Over the years, word began to spread until it became what it is today: a true tradition,” says Lorenzo.
The Cardonal
Carlos Adrián wanted to add his building, located in El Cardonal, to the list of the best Christmas houses in Tenerife, for this reason, he has shared with DIARIO DE AVISOS some curious aspects and several photographs.
As his own initiative, every Christmas he decorates the façade of his four-story block. He started four years ago with some lights, but this year he wanted to improve himself, and he has succeeded, because has added about 19,000 light bulbswhich together with those of previous years add up to 25,000, “almost a kilometer and a half of lights”.
He alone is in charge of decorating both the façade and the exterior areas, decorating trees and gardens. The decoration includes some figures of the Three Wise Men, an ornament that says “Merry Christmas” made by himself, a Christmas tree made with canes, as well as a Belen who has ridden in one of the gardens.
Guimar
In Güímar there is a house whose façade also attracts attention. Nutcrackers, gifts or socks are some of the decorative elements typical of the dates that hang on the walls.
At nightfall, its lighting makes it worth stopping along the way for all those who want to take a picture and even go with the little ones.
The slaughter
From La Matanza de Acentejo, in the north of Tenerife, Ezequiel has also wanted to show the decoration of his house. It has a very striking illumination, in which the cascades of lights, a Santa Claus, a snowman and a a Christmas tree that is four meters tall.

Ezequiel tells DIARIO DE AVISOS that they begin to place the decorations from the end of November and that every year they try to add something new, “adapted to low-consumption LED lights.” In addition, the nativity scene that they make is usually a great claim and “it will be resumed next year, after a break of three”, so you will have to be aware so as not to miss it.
