The First Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Public Services of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council, Carlos Tarife, has announced that the area he directs will begin the procedures to try to convince the surveillance room of the Superior Court of Justice of the Canary Islands, of the need to install a permanent camera “to protect the emblematic flower clock of the Garcia Sanabria Parkbefore the uncivil acts of some citizens who do not take care of the urban heritage and of the parents who allow the little ones to approach the clock and spoil it”.
The mayor of Public Services, Carlos Tarife, has also assured that “in the coming days we will proceed to compile the reports on the repair of the blades of the flower clock in the García Sanabria Park in recent years, to verify what the total cost has been. since, unfortunately, these acts occur too frequently.
Finally, the councilor of the City Council has indicated that “these actions cannot be tolerated since it is a clock, a meeting point for the chicharreros and for those who visit us, which must be appreciated and cared for.”
