
The III National Nightlife Congress (CNON), held at the Hard Rock Hotel, brought together the leaders of the sector at the state level, who committed themselves to the quality and improvement of the offer in order to consolidate themselves as one of the main attractions tourist in the country. The event, made possible thanks to the collaborative work of the Círculo de Empresarios y Profesionales del Sur de Tenerife (CEST) and Spain Nightlife, With the support of the Adeje City Council, it had round tables on topics of interest to the business community of the night, such as responsibilities in the face of legal obligations or the hiring of artists and copyright.
For the president of CEST, Roberto Ucelay, «this meeting is a perfect opportunity to enrich ourselves thanks to other experiences. An opportunity to create bridges between the different territories and generate opportunities”. The general secretary of Spain Nightlife, Joaquim Boadas, recalled that “one in three tourists consults the nightlife offer before choosing their travel destination” and explained that “the leisure offer must be combined with accommodation and restaurants to ensure that the destination meets the demands of visitors.
David López, from the Spain Nightlife David López board of directors, highlighted the important role that this subsector plays in promoting, directly or indirectly, other economic activities such as commerce. “We create a lot of wealth and, together, we are an industry that represents a significant economic force.”
