The works of the Port Inspection Center (CIP) and the road of basic networks of the granadilla port just received the favorable report from the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda by signing the corresponding receipt minutes, with which said executions are considered completed.
With a joint investment that is close to 14 million eurosits conclusion represents a further advance in the definition of the port of Granadilla, which already has a building for administrative use for merchandise inspection and the basic road for the service of the new port.
In more detail, up to now the work has been carried out in terms of urbanization and road distribution in its first phase, distributed in such a way that the new roads reach the outer dock and the counter-dock of the port, with connections through roundabouts and traffic links.
It also has a service road for exclusive use for port maintenance and the sidewalks have also been built and the corresponding signage installed, both vertical and horizontal. The port area has also been fenced off with a perimeter security wall made up of a reinforced concrete base, to contain vehicles, complying with the security regulations for strategic facilities within the European framework.
E C.I.P. The new building for cargo and merchandise inspection services mobilized in the port of Granadilla offers a technical and operational area made up of eight inspection platforms, in addition to the office spaces necessary for the administrative work of the different administrations that will carry out these tasks, as well as for the management of the center.
It has public lighting through intelligent control luminaires, as well as photovoltaic panels for the generation of electricity as an energy aid system.
Once these two works have been completed, the Services Building works are currently under development in the new port, with a budget of 4.3 million euros, and the executions of Defense and Filling of the Esplanade of the port of Granadilla, with a planned investment of 8.1 million euros.
The Services building will occupy a total surface area of 2,600 square meters and will be used for administrative purposes, with offices for the provincial Port Authority, the National Police and the Civil GuardPort pilots, concessionaires and other administrations.
