The emergency device that works to extinguish the Forest fire that has been declared this Saturday in the Tenerife municipality of Arafo has decided preventively to evacuate the Las Hermosas area, in Candelaria, and Camino Las Tapias, in arafoon the eastern slope of Tenerife.

In addition, according to the Island Council, the houses located at kilometer three of the TF-523 highway have been evacuated, a road that has been completely closed.
To facilitate the work of the forestry brigades, the Los Loros highway has also been cut at kilometer 1 to 3 and the Las Lagunetas highway, from kilometer 16 onwards.
The fire is located under the Chivisaya viewpoint and the smoke is visible through the Güímar valley, according to images distributed on social networks.
The strong wind is making the extinction tasks difficult.
Two Brivam brigades of eight components, a Vamtac vehicle with four components, three helicopters and two agents participate in the extinction.
The helicopters in the area are two from the Tenerife council and one from the Government of the Canary Islands.
