The Municipal Management of Capital City Urbanism has ordered the closure of a well-known nightclub in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, located on La Salle avenue. As confirmed by the Management, directed by Guillermo Díaz Guerra, DIARY OF NOTICESthe multiple non-compliances detected in the corresponding inspections, and the failure to correct them, has led the Management to make this decision, which will be maintained as long as the premises do not correct the deficiencies detected.
As the Councilor for Town Planning had already advanced to this medium, the priority of the Management at the moment is to prosecute town planning offenders through the Department of Town Planning Discipline, which has been reinforced.
And it is that, in this specific case, the irregularities detected after the corresponding inspections have led to ordering the immediate cessation of the activity until the requested documentation is presented.
In addition to a security report for the entire premises, the documentation corresponding to the correct installation of the air conditioning equipment is required; of the health, ventilation and hygiene conditions of the male toilets, as well as the safety conditions of the entrance and exit.
Likewise, the file, which was initiated by neighborhood complaints about noise, indicates that sound corrective measures must be installed, including the noise generated by air conditioning equipment, in addition to an acoustic impact study on the musical activity of the place.
