The Tenerife Consumer Bonds are sold out in four days after the application period opened last Monday with a total of 11,534 units sold for a value of 600,000 euros. The initiative of Council of Tenerifethrough the Insular Foundation for Training, the Employment and Business Development (Fifede), has reached more than 350 businesses in 23 municipalities on the Island.
Likewise, 5,500 bonds have already been exchanged, half of those that were purchased, with which 225 businesses are already benefiting from this incentive. Six out of every ten bonds have been acquired in the smallest municipalities of the island, with which, according to the island councilor for Socioeconomic Development, Carmen Luz Baso, “we achieved the objective of decentralizing purchases from large population centers, which tend to be more attractive, and take them to the smaller core stores. The rest, 38% of the bonds, has been distributed among Arona, Adeje, Puerto de La Cruz, La Laguna and Santa Cruz.
In accordance with the rules of use, each consumer can use a maximum of two bonuses in each purchase, regardless of its value, so it will be possible to obtain discounts of up to 60 euros in a single purchase. The business will receive 50% of the value of the redeemed vouchers within a maximum period of two weeks, from the date of purchase.
