SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Oct. 10 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Peinpal Advisory Committee has approved controlled access by sectors to the homes in Puerto Naos and La Bombilla. The system will be divided into four zones in the Puerto Naos neighborhood and four in La Bombilla so that each of them can be accessed every day with qualified personnel and gas meters.
The president of the Cabildo de La Palma, Mariano Zapata, explained that these accompaniments will begin next week, which is “another sign of the commitment and effort that the Cabildo continues to develop.” He also added that the accesses that are going to be established in La Bombilla will be able to give access to approximately 30 homes.
The accesses to the houses will be divided by sectors to which a color will be associated. Depending on the area, the color and the levels of gases, the neighbors will be allowed to enter the houses.
“The protocols that have been established are based solely on the safety and life of all affected people and it is our priority,” Zapata added.
The accompaniments will be carried out by the Volunteer Firefighters of La Palma with assisted breathing equipment and professional meters to maintain the safety of people at all times.
Zapata also stressed that during the past week the cleaning of the common areas began through the farm managers “where this Institution has been in charge of preparing the access protocols to clean those areas.”
“We are also continuing to clean one of the most complex areas of Puerto Naos, our main objective is to ensure that everything is as clean as possible given the rain forecast. We will not cease our efforts to continue working to recover it as soon as possible and in the best conditions the coast of the Valle de Aridane,” said the president.
The neighbors and neighbors who are in the indicated areas must previously request the QR to access through https://permiso.lapalma.es/Request .
