The Cabildo de Tenerife has reported on the morning of this Monday, August 8, that a new outbreak of forest fire has been declared in the north of Tenerife, this time on the Las Cabezadas road, in Icod del Alto, municipality of Los Realejos, very close to the place where the fire that burned more than 2,700 hectares at the end of July.
Three helicopters, a heavy urban bomb, a 4×4 vehicle to transport firefighters, five teams (two dissuasive and three Vamtac), two fire engines and three Environmental technicians from the Forestry Brigade (Brifor) traveled to the scene of the events. .
The rapid action of the emergency services made it possible to stabilize the fire two hours after his statement, around 12:20 p.m. According to the Cabildo de Tenerife, two hectares of vegetation were affected.
