The helicopter of the Emergency and Rescue Group (GES) has recovered this Sunday the lifeless body of the bather who disappeared this Saturday in the Charco de La Laja area (Tenerife).

According to the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 112, the events took place this Saturday, when they warned that two people were in trouble at sea.

Meanwhile, the search operation for the other person continued without success during the afternoon and was resumed early this Sunday.

In this regard, the GES helicopter located the second body this afternoon in an area near the coast, recovered it and transferred it, following instructions from the National Police, to the Tenerife North airport, where it has been taken to court.
