The Cabildo promotes technological training and employment with the Talentum Top programme. The Minister of Innovation, Enrique Arriaga, explains that technology companies demand talent and hence the commitment to training young people in these sectors.
The island institution, through the Tenerife Science and Technology Park (PCTT), launches the fourth call for the project to promote the generation of employment with high technological value on the island of Tenerife, within the framework of this initiative. The training itineraries are related to the sectors of digital content generation and graphic design, the computer area and audiovisual animation.
Arriaga highlights that “the objective of the Talentum project is to generate young people on the Island trained in what companies really need.” He emphasizes that “talent is what they demand the most and that is why the Tenerife Science and Technology Park encourages and trains young people with the Talentum Top program.”
The counselor explains that “Talentum Tenerife aims to promote and disseminate training, projects, research and transfer to society through companies”- The purpose of the Cabildo is “to turn the Island into an ecosystem that It promotes with impact, effectiveness and efficiency a talent economy to promote an entrepreneurial attitude, the creation of new companies and the possible attraction of multinationals».
Within Talentum Tenerife, there is the Talentum Top program aimed at people based in the ICT sector in order to adapt their training and experience to the current demand of companies in the sector with the promotion of direct job creation in the island area.
The training proposal is aimed at people registered on the Island, who have a base or previous experience in the ICT sector, and who want to improve their training to adapt to the current demand of companies. Registration is extended until September 20 and must be done electronically.
