The Cabildo, through Acción Exterior, participated in the Focus Canarie event, promoted through the Consortium of the Canary Islands Special Zone (ZEC) and held in Naples. There, the business opportunities offered by Tenerife were made known to some two hundred small and medium-sized Italian companies.
The meeting was aimed at Italian SMEs interested in learning about the options of the Canarian market. In its development, the CEO of the area, Liskel Álvarez, intervened to address the possibilities of the Island as an investment destination. They aroused great interest among those attending the Tenerife event.
Álvarez announces a trade mission to the Island before the end of the year to promote business between both territories. Italian investors will learn about the advantages of Tenerife as a business center in sectors such as information and communication technologies, audiovisual, light industries and logistics, through the Why Tenerife platform.
