Before the pandemic, the number of visitors that had consolidated the Maritime Park Santa Cruz was close to 300,000 people, a figure that the entity hopes to recover this year, although as of June only about 54,000 people have passed through the pools.
According to the delegate councilor of the Development Society, Alfonso Cabello, “we are confident that during the summer months, once the streets are finished, some 120,000 people pass through here and that throughout the year we will reach the figures of 2019, to those 300,000 visitors.
For this, yesterday, the Mayor of Santa CruzJosé Manuel Bermúdez, together with Cabello, presented the new summer season for swimming pools, which will run from July 1 to August 31, “and which begins after having made an investment of more than 300,000 euros to renew material, hire a multitude of revitalization activities and to have the appropriate lifeguard service”, said the mayor.
The bouncy castles will be from Monday to Sunday, from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., in the La Cascada pool; children’s boats, identical days, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., in the children’s; the canoes, in La Cascada, Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; in the main pool there will be, every day, the aerostatic exercises and the dance, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.; The children’s entertainment will be in the children’s pool, every day, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and, finally, the paddle surf activity will be in the La Cascada pool, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
