titsa leads the national ranking in passenger growth in the last three months. The island councilor for Mobility and president of the Cabildo transport company, Enrique Arriaga, recalls that the island institution has reinforced services or acquired new buses, among other measures, without increasing the price of tickets and highlights that the company transported from March to May 2022 to 11,649,230 passengers, 2.4% more than in the same period before the Covid-19 pandemic.
Enrique Arriaga describes these data as “very positive” and places the company at the head of the sector at a national level. Likewise, he considers that they endorse the policy of commitment to public transport that his area has been developing since he took office.
«From the Cabildo we have reinforced services, extended routes, acquired new buses, more comfortable, accessible and respectful with the environment and, all this, without increasing the price of tickets to make the bus and the tram the first option for moving around the Island”, assures the counselor.
