Firefighters from Tenerife have been since noon this Friday, June 3, trying to put out a fire that has started next to the TF-1 motorway, at the height of the Las Caletillas curve, in the municipality of Candelaria.
It was the Firefighters themselves who reported, through their Twitter profile, that they had come to the scene to extinguish the flames, which affected stubble and a palm grove, and that they had spread down the hillside reaching the ravine, next to the rails from the south direction.
They also indicated that agents of the Civil Guard and the Candelaria Local Police had come to the area.
However, minutes after 6:00 p.m., it was the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES 1-1-2) of the Government of the Canary Islands that indicated, also on its social networks, that the fire had reignited, so the presence of firefighters was required again and caution was requested on the road.
