The Governing Board of the Municipality of Santa Cruz of Tenerife ratified this Monday the Public Employment Offer (OPE) extraordinary for 2022 of the positions held by personnel susceptible to stabilization, in accordance with the Law of urgent measures for the reduction of temporality in the public employment.
The Public Employment Offer extraordinary stabilization has been the subject of negotiation and agreement with the unions and affects temporary staff with a total of 306 public positions.
The selection system will be that of competition for the places affected by article 2, or competition for those affected by the sixth and eighth additional provision.
Temporary Staff Experience
Most of the experience in the body, scale, category or equivalent in question will be taken into account for temporary staff.
The mayor of the city, José Manuel Bermúdez, has stated that “Santa Cruz is among the first municipal administrations to comply with the Law on urgent measures and that gives stability to temporary jobs.”
The Councilor for Human Resources, Purificación Dávila, is confident that this OPE “is a good solution to provide job stability for the staff of the Santa Cruz City Council.”
