Open the reservation period for the tables and chairs of the Magicians’ Ball of Santa Cruz de Tenerife



The City Council of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, through the Autonomous Organism for Festivities and Recreational Activities, OAFAR, opens the period for reserving tables for the Dance of the Magi, scheduled for the Fiestas de Mayo, which will take place on May 2 at the Calle de la Noria and its surroundings, starting at 9:00 p.m.

Starting tomorrow, Thursday, the 21st, starting at 10:00 a.m., interested persons will be able to reserve one of the 656 tables arranged in the usual urban environment, between the streets of Antonio Domínguez Alfonso (La Noria), Calle Nifú-Nifá, Campo Castro, Calle Bravo Murillo, as well as in the squares of Europe and the Church of the Conception.

The reservation for a table and ten chairs will cost 10 euros, and can be formalized through the website www.fiestasdesantacruz.com where the user can access a plane and select the sector. You can also go to the OAFAR headquarters, located at Calle Antonio Domínguez Alfonso 7, during opening hours to the public. In both cases, payment will be made exclusively by bank card and the maximum number of reservations per person and card will be four tables.

As usual, the venue will be limited and can be accessed free of charge through any of the 10 checkpoints where the correct clothing of the traditional Canarian costume will be checked.

In this edition, the Taifa dances that will be held on the stages arranged in the Plaza de Europa and Campo Castro, which will be enlivened from 10:00 p.m. by different folk groups, are recovered.

The stage of the Charco de la Casona, located next to the Puente del Cabo, will present a traditional festival atmosphere; The performance of several popular orchestras is scheduled from 00:00 hours.

For the Councilor for Fiestas, Alfonso Cabello, it is “an activity long awaited by all our neighbors and visitors, since it means the return to the joint celebration of our traditions.” In this sense, the mayor recalls that “the Dance of the Magi returns under its traditional format with Taifa Dances, parrandas and a stage with a popular verbena atmosphere.”
