We want to move echoed yesterday on their social networks the beginning of the painting of the first parking lots for scooters in Santa Cruz. Specifically, with two spaces in front of the Cabildo de Tenerife, in car parks that were previously reserved for cars. Precisely, this elimination of spaces was criticized by the CSIF union, which denounced the use of these car parks by private companies, without any consideration for the city.
The Security area had committed to the implementation of some 51 places in the downtown area of Santa Cruz, as well as a series of measures agreed with the main scooter company that operates in the capital, consisting of the deactivation of scooters when they enter pedestrian zones, or the payment of the rental of the same until the user parks it in one of these parking lots, in order to avoid being abandoned anywhere in the city.
