SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 8 Apr. (EUROPE PRESS) –
The Cabildo de Tenerife has begun work to improve the waterproofing of the roof of the Santiago Martín de La Laguna Pavilion.
This has been announced by the island councilor for Sports, Concepción Rivero, who points out in a note that “the work has an investment of 315,000 euros that will serve to improve one of the most emblematic sports facilities in Tenerife.”
The work, which will take place over six months, will essentially consist of the comprehensive renovation of the sheet that covers the pitch’s roof, although other improvements will also be undertaken, such as the replacement of the skylights in poor condition, the incorporation of a motorized system of slats of aluminum that facilitates the darkening of the space and a new centralized locking system with remote control that will be available in the control cabin located on the field.
The works are compatible with the usual activity of the pavilion.
In addition, the additional security measures considered appropriate will be applied to guarantee the protection of the entire space in which the work is carried out.
