Metrotenerife, a company of the Cabildo de Tenerife, activates from this Friday the 11th the weekend night service on Line 1 so that the trams will once again operate continuously between 00:00 and 06:00 with frequencies of 20 and 30 minutes.

In this sense, the island councilor for Mobility and president of Metrotenerife, Enrique Arriaga, has pointed out that “in the face of the progressive relaxation of restrictions due to covid, especially in restaurants and nightlife, the trams on Line 1 resume circulation on the early morning on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. He also recalls that the tram service is already operating at one hundred percent of its capacity and that the use of the mask is still mandatory on public transport.
